Y&R Spoilers Speculation: Summer Confesses To Protect Her Mom

Y&R spoilers are about to prove that old maxim: Two can keep a secret…if one of them is dead. As long as only Summer and Phyllis knew she was alive — and Phyllis was “dead” — the secret can stay secret. But now that Daniel knows, too, all bets are off.

Daniel (Michael Graziadei) knows what it’s like to be falsely accused of a crime he didn’t commit. It happened to him with Cassie’s (Camryn Grimes) death. Daniel won’t be able to do the same to Diane (Susan Walters). He’ll go to Chance (Conner Floyd) and spill all. But that’s when a thoroughly unhinged Summer (Allison Lanier) pulls her craziest stunt yet!

Victim of Circumstance

We don’t blame Summer. Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) has put her through a criminal level of gaslighting over the past few weeks. The poor girl doesn’t know if she’s coming or going. She doesn’t know who to trust or whom she can turn to. Her mother has basically destroyed her. Yet, like so many abused children, Summer still feels compelled to protect Phyllis.

Y&R Spoilers: Sibling Rivalry

Summer is going to be furious with Daniel for spilling the beans about Phyllis not being dead. Because that means now Phyllis will be the prime suspect in Jeremy’s (James Hyde) murder. Summer can’t let her mother go down for the crime of simply committing murder in order to cover up another crime she’d committed. Where is the justice in that?

Young & Restless: Hands of Fate

So Summer will take justice into her own hands, and confess to Jeremy’s murder. Phyllis gave her enough details to make it convincing. Even Daniel noticed she knew about the scissors when that information hadn’t been revealed publicly.

Summer will spin a story about confronting Jeremy and needing to defend herself. Kyle (Michael Mealor) won’t believe it, but Summer will stick to her guns. No sacrifice is too big to make sure her mother is safe. That’s Summer’s job, you know. She has to protect Phyllis at all costs! Thinks this speculation will come true?
