For the past several years Y&R spoilers have been shown that Nikki Newman has been forced to devote the bulk of her time to putting out fires — and feuds — between the people she loves most.
Y&R Spoilers Speculation
There was Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) against Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Victor against Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow). Victoria versus Nick, and then throw Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and even Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) into the mix. We don’t blame Nikki for having had enough. And we won’t blame her if she takes this drastic step to bring all that in-fighting to an end.
Young and the Restless: Queen Takes Pawn
When Victoria offered Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) the opportunity to be her co-CEO at Newman Enterprises, Nikki understood that her daughter was just using her. Victor wanted Victoria to keep sharing power with Adam, so Victoria proposed her mother take the position, instead, knowing that Victor wouldn’t be able to object — and Adam would be check-mated yet again.
Nonetheless, Nikki accepted the job. We thought it was in order to keep her daughter and husband happy. But what if…she had a plan?
Y&R Spoilers: End of the Road
What if Nikki agreed to be the co-CEO of Newman Enterprises so that she could take the whole thing over…and throw everybody out? The best way to stop her family from fighting over the company each thinks should be solely theirs is to make it so that none of them can have it. If Nikki is in the big chair, then Victor and Victoria and Adam can’t be constantly squabbling over it — with Nick standing off to the side, feeling smug and morally superior.
Nikki is a mom. She knows that, sometimes, when all the kids are tugging on the same toy, the best thing to do is not to try to make them share — it’s to just take the darned thing away, put it in the closet and announce, “It’s mine now.”
