Y&R Spoilers Speculation: Lily is Pregnant – But Who’s the Daddy?

Now that Christel Khalil has announced her real-life pregnancy on social media, will Y&R spoilers start setting up a possible reel-life pregnancy, as well? Yes, yes, we know. Lily needed a surrogate for her twins because she had a hysterectomy due to her ovarian cancer.

But just because we know that, it doesn’t mean the current writing regime knows that (or the scabs?). In any case, do you know how many miracle babies there have been in Genoa City? Ask Victor (Eric Braeden). And Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Ask Ashley (Eileen Davidson). And Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). The point is it happens. A lot.

Lily had barely broken up with Billy (Jason Thompson) before she hooked up with Daniel (Michael Graziadei). That’s a classic Genoa City setup for a Who’s the Daddy storyline. So who will be the lucky pop?

Y&R Bachelor Number One

Lily and Billy were in a committed relationship. One which, before they started fighting about work, seemed to be almost exclusively about sex. So she could have gotten pregnant. Just before they broke up.

It’s kind of funny. Billy was with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) when Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) showed up pregnant with Johnny (Paxton Mishkind). How will Chelsea respond to being on the other side of that equation? Not well, we suspect.

Y&R Bachelor Number Two

Sure, sure, Lily and Daniel were hot and heavy when they were teens. They even went on the run together when Daniel was accused of causing Cassie’s (Camryn Grimes) car accident. But that was over 20 years ago. This time around, their relationship is pretty new. Is Daniel even really over Heather (Vail Bloom)? And what about his relationship with Lucy? They are still in the process of mending it. How would Lucy react to her dad suddenly moving onto a new family?

Of course, Daniel might be more open to raising another man’s child due to his own experience with his adoptive dad, Danny (Michael Damian). But Billy is not very good at sharing. This could be fun!
