When she was in the middle of her Ashland Locke mess, Y&R spoilers teased that Victoria Newman shipped kids Johnny Abbott and Katie Abbott off to boarding school, so they wouldn’t need to deal with it.

And, also, because boarding school is where all soap kids go to…mature. By which we mean: Pick up a few years and go through puberty. But now, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is telling Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) she’s thinking of bringing them home…just as Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is trying to convince Johnny’s parents to tell him that she’s his biological mother.

The character has just been recast with Paxton Mishkind, which means Johnny is definitely on his way back to Genoa City. What will that mean for Billy, Victoria, and Chelsea?

The one with the least to lose here, is Billy. He’s Johnny’s biological dad, no matter what. He’s Johnny’s legal dad, no matter what. And the details of Johnny’s conception don’t paint Billy in a bad light. Of course, he was OK with filling Johnny in. He’s not the one who’ll pay any kind of price.
