Y&R Spoilers Speculation: Heather Wants Daniel Back

Y&R spoilers tease complicated days ahead, and just when Daniel is settling into life in Genoa City — with Lily — his ex is back in town. Daniel says he and Heather are just going to be co-parenting Lucy, but maybe Lucy isn’t all that Heather wants to talk to Daniel about.

Y&R Spoilers Speculation: Nothing To See Here

Nothing we have seen between Daniel (Michael Graziadei) and Heather (Vail Bloom) suggests that there is anything left between them but Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant). We don’t see attraction, we don’t see shared history, and we don’t even see regret. We see two people who are done, who love their child but not each other. So what is there for Heather to try and reignite?

Young and the Restless: Remember When?

Then again, the bulk of Daniel and Heather’s relationship took place off-screen. Maybe what we’re seeing as polite indifference is what really turned the two of them on back in the day. Maybe if Heather continues subtly ignoring Daniel, and Daniel continues blatantly ignoring Heather, they’ll both remember that their relationship is at its best this way. And fall back into each other’s arms.

Y&R Spoilers: New Year, New Me

But if the slow burn approach failed them before, we expect a smart woman like Heather to try something completely different. She held Daniel too much at arm’s length before — time to go full out. Lucy or no Lucy, Heather can play on Daniel’s nostalgia. She can remind him of the good times they shared, what a happy family they were, and how easy it would be for them to get it all back. Surely, Lily (Christel Khalil) isn’t worth throwing away almost two decades of effort for?
