Y&R spoilers tease that Dominic experiences a medical emergency that leaves Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor, Chance Chancellor, and Devon Hamilton shook. We speculate that amid the testing the baby undergoes as a result of the medical emergency that Devon learns he’s not Dom’s biological father.
Y&R Spoilers Speculation: Heartbreak for Devon
Devon (Bryton James) is absolutely thrilled to be recognized as Dominic’s dad. Although he initially signed on to be a sperm donor with a special status, he’s taken things further, asking for and receiving shared custody of Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Chance’s (Connor Floyd) son. Everybody is congratulating the proud papa, which makes Devon ripe for a huge shock.
When the doctors run bloodwork on Domnic to see what is wrong with him, we predict that the baby’s blood type will come back as something that precludes Devon from being his biological father. That will leave Devon heartbroken, and his girlfriend, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will also feel devastated since she’s started to bond with the little boy too. Although these two haven’t discussed it, maybe Y&R spoilers will hint that it’ll spur them to try for a baby of their own.
Of course, Abby looks like this type of news would thrill her, except for the worry of who Dominic’s biological dad really is. Chance might be a different story, though. After all, he seems awfully thrilled to have some free time without a baby to care for.

Who is Dominic’s Dad?
Of course, that leaves open the question of just who sired Dominic. There are a few possibilities, and many of them are bizarre. Abby herself was the product of Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) stealing Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) sperm, so it wouldn’t be all that unexpected for Abby’s baby to have a similar situation.
As for who could be Dominic’s dad, perhaps somehow Dr. Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) managed to do a switch with Devon. His random appearance in the storyline and his abducting Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) came seemingly out of the blue. Plus, given his medical background, Stitch might have the connections to get his specimen switched with Devon’s. Of course, it could be a random donor mixup, which might have Y&R spoilers revealing a whole new character for Y&R.
