Y&R Spoilers Speculation: Nice Try
She tried it with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), who put Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) needs ahead of hers. She tried it with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), who put Johnny Abbott’s (Paxton Mishkind) needs ahead of hers. Well, Y&R spoilers predict that wouldn’t do.

But Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), now there was an interesting prospect… His own wife, Abby Newman Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), had already thrown her own fit about how Chance was putting work ahead of their family.
So Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) may have finally found the perfect guy who’ll put her ahead of his kid. Added bonus: Dominic isn’t even biologically Chance’s, and Y&R spoilers show that he’s already admitted he has trouble bonding with the tot.

Chance also has a serious hero complex that his wife is either too independent – or too dependent on her daddy and/or Dominic’s biological dad, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) – to fully indulge. Abby insists on handling problems on her own. So what does she need Chance for?

Good thing Chance is so incredibly needy. If ever there was a damsel in distress, Chelsea can put on that act better than anyone. Add to that Chance being raised by a single mom, and Chelsea being a single mom whose son needs a strong male figure… bat eyelashes, bat eyelashes… After all, that bit worked on Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), and he was also married…. to a woman who didn’t come running to him for every crises.
Match Made In Co-Dependence
Chelsea needs a hero, Chance wants to be the one… the one problem would be their smoosh name. They’re as bad as Billy+Lily=Billy? What are we going to call them? Cha-Cha? Che-Che? Choo-Choo?
