Y&R Spoilers Speculation: Billy Betrays Both Ashley And Jack

Y&R spoilers are making us wonder what Billy will do now that both Ashley and Jack expect him to spy on the other. Is he a double agent now? A triple agent? Can Billy keep track? And, even if he can’t, what’s to stop the Abbott black sheep from turning on them both?

Y&R Spoilers Speculation: Dad Always Loved You Best

Jack (Peter Bergman), Ashley (Eileen Davidson), and Billy (Jason Thompson) share a father. (Don’t post comments saying that Ashley’s biological dad is tennis bum, Brent Davis, played by the late actor, Bert Kramer. John raised her, she’s his child. End of conversation.) But Ashley and Jack got to be raised by the venerable and loving John (Jerry Douglas). Billy split his time between John…and Jill (Jess Walton). Jill may have been a better parent to Billy than she was to Phillip. But that’s not saying much.

Also, John died when Jack and Ashley were adults. But Billy had barely graduated college. Billy spent the bulk of his key screw-up years without John. And the loss really shows.

As a result, Billy has always felt on the outside looking in when it comes to the Abbotts. Whatever they say to him, he interprets as criticism and gets all pouty. Sure, Billy agreed to spy on Ashley for Jack. And he agreed to spy on Jack for Ashley. So far, he’s told Jack what’s going on, but not Ashley. How long will that last, however?

How long before Billy gets too confused to keep juggling, and just decided to look out for Number One…AKA Billy. How long before he decides that neither his brother nor his sister deserves Dad’s company? Only Billy does.

We don’t think he’s smart enough to steal their company out from under his siblings. But we are afraid that Jack and Ashley are dumb enough to let it slip through their fingers. And Billy will be there to let it fall into his lap.
