 Comments

Y&R spoilers told us everything we needed to know about how Sally really feels about Adam when, after spotting him through the hotel room peephole, Sally first fixed up her hair before letting him in. Does a woman do that for a man she is no longer attracted to?

Y&R Spoilers Speculation

No, she does not. Sally (Courtney Hope) may swear she is devoted to Nick (Joshua Morrow). She may even believe it herself. Or, at least, she may believe that she believes it herself. But it’s only a matter of time before Adam (Mark Grossman) wins her back. Here’s how we know.

Young & Restless: Sense and Sensibility

Sally lept down Nick’s throat when he suggested that losing baby Ava was fitting karma for Adam’s previous bad deeds. Sure, it could have been because Sally lost the same child, and Nick’s comment was grossly inappropriate. And that was certainly part of it. But, in the end, Sally wasn’t defending herself. She was defending Adam. Because she still cares about him.

Y&R Spoilers: The Other Place

Adam, of course, still more than cares about her. Adam still loves her. He’s only said so a half-dozen times. And here is the main difference between Adam and Nick: Nick is having a decent enough time with Sally. Even as he works with Sharon (Sharon Case). And periodically runs into Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). Sally will never, ever come first with Nick. Sally will always come first with Adam. Even Precious Connor (Judah Mackey) has been periodically told to wait a second where Sally was concerned. There’s no more evidence of Adam’s devotion than that.

Y&R: Two of Hearts

Sally understands that she will never be Number One with Nick. And she’s convinced herself that she’s OK with that. And she might even have been if there wasn’t a man hovering on the periphery offering the opposite. No one can resist being adored for long.
