Y&R Spoilers Spec: Stitch Is Tara’s Long Lost Brother

 Comments

The third time Tara Locke mentioned a long-lost brother whom she is no longer in touch with in Y&R spoilers, viewers had to assume the guy was about to make an appearance in Genoa City. He didn’t. But, you know who did? Dr. Ben Rayburn, AKA Stitch, AKA Abby Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) ex-husband. That was quite a coincidence, wasn’t it, fans mused. Wonder if there’s a connection between the two?

Y&R Spoilers Spec: Fitness Plan

The speculation certainly makes sense. Stitch (Sean Carrigan) and Tara are close enough in age to be siblings. Tara (Elizabeth Leiner) said they grew up together but became estranged when their parents died, and also that their parents left them some money. Enough money to pay for medical school, we presume.

Young and the Restless: Contradiction Corner

There are no obvious contradictions in upcoming Y&R spoilers. We know very little about Stitch’s family. He certainly never said that his parents are still alive and that he doesn’t have a sister. We only know about Stitch’s ex-wife, and his mentally ill son, Max. We may know more about him than Tara does.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers Spec: Through the Cracks

Of course, in the real world, a savvy player like Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) would have never let a woman move into his house without doing at least a cursory background check on her. There, he couldn’t have missed the fact that her brother was once married to Jack’s niece.

But we can also fanwank that Jack was so enamored by the mop-topped moppet that Tara presented as Jack’s first grandson (though who knows, Keemo, the son Jack never mentions, could have fathered an entire brood by now), that he forgot all about traditional rich people precautions.

Y&R Spoilers Spec: The Twain Shall Meet

It would seem that a relationship between Stitch and Tara would serve no story point. Yet, if different speculation is correct and Stitch plans to make off with Abby’s baby, maybe that’s exactly when you need a rich sister’s help!
