Y&R spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson has come to the horrifying realization that faking insanity to avoid a murder charge and jail time might come with some unpleasant elements – like being committed to a mental institution… indefinitely. Who saw that plot twist coming?

When it comes to accepting help from Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), there are plenty of reasons to just say no. First of all, Adam is nothing more than a tool of Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden). And Victor is the one who had Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) put away in the first place.

And second, Y&R spoilers show that Adam is pretty nuts himself. It would be the blind leading the blind. Stick with the professionals. They may not be as devious as the Newmans. But they’re also the only ones whose opinions ultimately matter, 42% of the audience reminds.
