The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, July 6 presents Naya Benedict being completely unreasonable, Victoria Newman refusing Adam Newman’s olive branch, Chelsea Lawson resorting to blackmail, Moses Winters hedging, and Stitch Rayburn turning up wherever Mariah Copeland happens to be.

Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) offers to work with her sister, Imani Benedict (Leigh Ann Rose), to defend Naya (Ptosha Storey) against charges of having killed Richard. Naya will go along – but only if Amanda leaves Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) out of it. Since blaming the whole thing on him is Amanda’s defense strategy, that might prove tricky. Amanda finally agrees, but Imani knows she’s lying. Amanda doesn’t care. She’s bringing Sutton down!
Later, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) tells Amanda he invited Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Elena (Brytni Sarpy) over for drinks. Imani wants to come, too. They’re all family, after all!
Y&R Recap: Looking Ahead
Now that it looks like Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will be teaming up with Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi), Adam (Mark Grossman) wants to kiss and make up with his sister. No, thank you, Victoria says. She doesn’t trust him, and she never will.
Meanwhile, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) gets her doctor to admit that he’s on the take. She records him. (Mental patients are allowed to have their phones with them? Isn’t what’s on your phone a leading cause of sending people around the bend?) Now he has to certify her sane, ha ha ha!

Young And Restless: Fancy Running Into You…
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is out running. Stitch (Sean Carrigan) bumps into her accidentally. He tells her how important exercise is for the baby. Mariah says she’s doing it for herself. Stitch better be planning to steal this kid and Abby (Melissa Ordway), or else this is all a waste of everyone’s time.
