When it comes to accepting help from Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), there are plenty of reasons to just say no. First of all, Adam is nothing more than a tool of Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden). And Victor is the one who had Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) put away in the first place.

And second, Y&R spoilers show that Adam is pretty nuts himself. It would be the blind leading the blind. Stick with the professionals. They may not be as devious as the Newmans. But they’re also the only ones whose opinions ultimately matter, 42% of the audience reminds.

A smaller 35% of you, on the other hand, speculate that Adam is the only one who can help Chelsea. He’s the one who drove her crazy, so it stands to reason that he’s the only one who can un-crazy her. It’s the old-fashioned snake pit. The idea that a crazy person can be shocked back to sanity by being put in a situation that would make a sane person crazy. Adam is a natural fit for the role of the snake.
