Y&R spoilers reveal that Chelsea Lawson spends Christmas with Adam Newman and Connor Newman. However, while he seems set on co-parenting with Chelsea, she is set on reuniting with Adam. We speculate that this difference of opinion will lead to major drama.
Y&R Spoilers Speculation: Chelsea’s Dreams Won’t Come True
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) tried to frame Adam (Mark Grossman) for murder when she left Genoa City. Because of her belief that Adam and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) had an inappropriate relationship, she was through with him.
Now, however, Chelsea is back and looking healthy and beautiful. After her therapy, Chelsea realizes that she wasn’t right about Adam and Sharon (or was she?). Perhaps because of that, Chelsea thinks a reunion with Adam is an excellent way to be a happy family again with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).
She even decided to wrap up the painting she bought for Adam to give him for Christmas in hopes of getting him to remember their better times together. There’s just one little problem, though. Adam hasn’t bought into the idea. In fact, he is fighting his feelings for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), but it looks like he’s failing as they continue to grow closer through their flirtation.
All Hope Is Lost
Although she’s in a better place mentally, we can’t quite imagine a scenario where Y&R spoilers tease that Chelsea quietly accepts Adam’s rejection. When she finally realizes that Adam isn’t interested in a reunion, there’s no telling what Chelsea will do. Perhaps she’ll manage to make it look like she’s okay with it, but we speculate that she’ll embark on a no holds barred plan to ensure Adam and Sally don’t end up together.

In addition, we foresee Chelsea leaning on or even enlisting somebody else as she enacts her plan. Perhaps she’ll get friendlier with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), or she’ll cozy up with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) again.
The former will undoubtedly cause issues with Sharon and Rey’s marriage. However, the latter could get to Adam and even Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). After all, Victor recently warned his youngest son away from Chelsea, and it stands to reason he wouldn’t appreciate Nick with her either.
Who knows? One long-shot possibility is Chelsea ends up teaming up with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and helps him get his revenge on Adam. Of course, an angry Chelsea is nearly impossible to predict (and so are Y&R’s writers), which is why Adam is handling her with kid gloves right now.
