Tempers rise and fall in Genoa City

At Devon’s penthouse, he and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) look at his computer screen during a video conference — most likely with Jill. Lily looks incredibly unhappy about the whole situation. Devon looks over at his sister and seems to explain something she doesn’t like. We suspect it has to do with his wanting to buy back Hamilton Winters.
It’s no secret that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is frustrated that his wife no longer wants to support his mom at all costs. He looks morose as he stares at his computer while sitting in Jack’s office at Jabot. Summer comes in and looks pretty mad with her arms crossed. It’s safe to say these two are struggling right now.
At Jeremy’s (James Hyde) hotel room, Chance (Conner Floyd) flashes his police badge to a robe-clad Jeremy. After he gets dressed, it looks like Chance searches through the room for stolen goods, and he finds Nikki’s necklace. Jack (Peter Bergman) shows up, and Diane (Susan Walters) is there too. Chance and Jack seem to keep the two apart as angry words are obviously exchanged. Later, Jack and Diane are back at the Abbott mansion, and they look at each other with satisfied expressions. Does this mean their woes with Jeremy are over? It seems unlikely.
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) seems to finish her discussion at Society with Tucker (Trevor St. John). Later, he joins a less-than-thrilled Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) at the bar.
