Devon (Bryton James) and Lily (Christel Khalil) decided not to rehire Nate (Sean Dominic) at Chancellor-Winters after they spoke with Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) regarding what happened with Nate at Newman Enterprises (here’s what Nick had to say to Lily about that).

Of course, now they have to tell Nate the bad news. It seems unlikely that he’s going to take it well, but it looks like Devon and Lily set him down on the patio at Crimson Lights to give him their decision.

Also not too happy is Jill (Jess Walton). She and Tucker (Trevor St. John) are at Society, and Mamie (Veronica Redd) shows up. No doubt Jill is trying her hardest to rally support for herself and Chancellor-Winters. She’s not at all thrilled that Tucker fronted some of the money Mamie used to buy shares in the company. Will they reach an agreement, or will Jill find herself pushed out? Later, Mamie also finds a moment to talk to Tucker, and it probably doesn’t go well…for him, at least.

Finally, Billy (Jason Thompson) has something to tell Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters). We suspect it’s something that they don’t want to hear, though. Will he be able to get through to his brother and sister-in-law?
