Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) have had a tumultuous few weeks, but Summer still loves her mother, and Phyllis still loves her daughter. Recently, Phyllis agreed to work for Daniel Romalotti (Michael Grazaidei) on his new gaming platform for Chancellor-Winters. It looks like he’s none too pleased about what Summer and his mom are talking about. Could Summer be trying to lure Phyllis back to Marchetti after everything that’s happened? Summer’s clearly losing patience with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and the worry she’s caused Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Meanwhile, Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) takes Dominic over to Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) to spend some time. Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) is there, and while he’s not Abby’s favorite person, she seems happy enough as he plays with his grandson. Devon takes the little boy upstairs, leaving Abby and Tucker together, and they have a conversation that seems somewhat serious.

Later, after Tucker is gone, Abby and Devon come together and end up sharing another kiss. Could this be the beginning of something big between them? Perhaps. After all, they already slept together, ending both their relationships, so they’re free to see each other now.
