The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, July 31, 2023, tease that Mariah has a big career decision to make. Plus, Phyllis has some serious image rehabbing to do, and Nick takes control. This is sure to be one dramatic episode you won’t want to miss.
It wasn’t that long ago that Kyle (Michael Mealor) was trying to get Mariah (Camryn Grimes) to show bestie solidarity by quitting her job at Jabot, just like he did. That’s what friends do, right? Not so fast, pointed out Mariah. She has a new baby to raise, and diapers aren’t cheap.
Apparently, Mariah’s skills are in high demand because it looks like on Monday, she will be getting another job offer — but this time, it won’t be from Kyle. Instead, it’s her mother, Sharon (Sharon Case), who is hoping to lure her away from her current position. Will Mariah jump ship?
As Sharon is trying to woo Mariah, one of her new partners, who also happens to be her ex-husband, is also looking to move forward. Y&R spoilers tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) takes control. This will be an interesting move for Nick since he’s had it taken away from him.

First, he had to deal with Cameron Kirsten wreaking havoc on Sharon and their daughter, then his sister, Victoria (Amelia Heinle), felt he needed some down time so she stripped him of his job at Newman, and now his father, Victor (Eric Braeden) has used him like a piece on a chessboard, making him work with his brother. Taking back his power is exactly what Nick needs — but how will he do it?
Nick isn’t the only one who has had his power stripped from him. Another of his ex-wives, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), is finally back on the scene, but she is not Miss Popularity, not after the stunts she’s pulled. So look for Phyllis to do what she can to rebuild her image after the last several months. But
