The Y&R spoilers for Monday, July 4, 2022, celebrate the all-American holiday with profound words of wisdom — which don’t always land where they’re supposed to. Summer Newman Abbott decides it’s her place to fix her mother’s love life, while Allie Nguyen turns to Grandpa Jack Abbott for advice, and Tessa Porter struggles with her next step.
The Y&R Spoilers Highlights
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) went from flying off the handle at any and everything to flying off the handle about how she can’t help flying off the handle. She’s pretending to extend an olive branch to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
But that wasn’t enough to get Jack (Peter Bergman) to fall back into her arms. So now Phyllis is really flying off the handle. Like us, Summer (Allison Lanier) has had enough. So she tries to give her mom a hand. Shame nobody appreciates it.
Should I Stay Or Should I Go?
Allie (Kelsey Wang) has been making vague noises about returning to Los Angeles. But Genoa City is starting to feel more and more like home. Allie goes to Jack for advice about whether she should relocate.
Of course, like any recently graduated twentysomething, she needs money for a place to live, which would require a job…and those aren’t that easy to get in this economy. What’s that, Grandpa? I can continue living at your house? And you can snap your fingers and get me a dream job in your family company’s lab? Phswt! This is so easy! What are all my fellow Gen Z-ers complaining about?
Y&R Spoilers: Rest and Recreation
Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) has a sore throat. Her doctor diagnosed nodes. She’ll need to rest her voice. This means postponing her tour. Tessa is sad. Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is sad with her. They are both sad.
