The Y&R spoilers for November 8 – November 12, 2021, tease parents acting worse than their children, parents demanding the best for their offspring, offspring wishing that their parents (and siblings) would just butt out, and so much more.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) have an awkward cross at Society…during which the question of how to best break the news of their split to daughter Summer Newman Abbott (Hunter King) is raised.
Before Phyllis and Nick reach a decision, Nick does a runner — and heads straight for Sharon Rosales (Sharon Chase). Expect his first ex-wife to offer her usual sage advice and to ignore the urge to say, “I told you so.”
Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) isn’t done with Sutton Ames (Jack Landron), nor is he with her. But on top of worrying about whether she’ll get justice for her murdered father or not, Amanda will also have to contend with Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) concerns about Dominic — and she’s worried about overstepping and rocking the proverbial boat.
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is the next in a long line of interested parties to question Noah Newman’s (Rory Gibson) sudden return to town and his reluctance to discuss his time in London. Though Noah will cop to having his heartbroken, he wants to speak of it no further. Luckily for him, Mariah agrees to respect his wish. But which family member will pry into Noah’s past next?
According to Y&R spoilers, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) has her hands full, what with picking up the slack at Newman/Locke and worrying about her splintering family. Nick and Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) still aren’t on the best of terms. Ditto Nick and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Plus, Nikki also has to worry about the war raging between her husband and stepson, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), and their most hated foe: Billy “Boy” Abbott (Jason Thompson) — not to mention collateral damage Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
Meanwhile, look for Nina Webber (Tricia Cast) to struggle mightily with her grief over Chance Chancellor’s supposed death — and for Abby Newman Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) to find comfort in big brother Nick (aww, there’s hope for the Newman’s after all).
Finally, Y&R spoilers warn that Phyllis will be short yet another defender — in light of Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) deciding to give his ex a wide berth — at the most inopportune of times. Plus, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is on the warpath.
