The Y&R spoilers for July 5 – July 9, 2021, tease Chelsea Lawson deciding to take drastic measures, Ashland Locke putting his best foot forward, and so much more!
After learning that an overly anxious Dr. Hedges (Michael Bofshever) intends to keep her confined to his mental health clinic indefinitely, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) reaches out to her one remaining ally: Chloe Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson).
Per a hastily thrown together plan, Chloe pays Chelsea a visit, then purposefully leaves behind a cell phone; Chelsea in turn cons Dr. Hedges into admitting that he’s on Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) payroll; and upon receiving a recording of the highly incriminating conversation, Chloe uploads to the cloud.
Chelsea then proceeds to blackmail her shrink into arranging a day-pass for her and setting up a meeting with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) at Chancellor Park. Chloe is also extended an invitation, and, much to her horror, she learns that Chelsea is planning on making a run for it!
Young and the Restless spoilers warn that Ashland’s (Richard Burgi) carefully guarded secret is exposed this week – but it remains to be seen whether that has anything to do with his supposed terminal lung cancer diagnosis. After all, wasn’t that tidbit already released in an online tabloid?
In the interim, look for Ashland to continue to do business with, and hope for something more from, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Will she follow through or continue to dangle promises in front of the power mogul?
In other Y&R spoilers news, the Abbott family gathers and extends a warm welcome to a very special guest, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) makes a bold offer, and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) insinuates herself into Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) affairs. Perhaps since Summer Newman has left the country, her busybody instincts need someone else to focus on. Poor Jack!
Meanwhile, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) remains determined to get to the bottom of her father’s murder – and she makes what could be interpreted as a threatening vow to a jailed Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey).
Finally, Nikolas Newman (Joshua Morrow) bids Genoa City adieu, tensions escalate between Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), and a shocking truth is revealed during a dinner hosted by Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
