The Y&R spoilers for August 9 – August 13, 2021, tease Victoria Newman and Ashland Locke surprising Victor Newman and Nikki Newman with news of their engagement, and Adam Newman trying to deduce if Chelsea Lawson is lulling him into a false sense of security…again!

Having resettled in Genoa City, Ashland (Richard Burgi) presents Victoria (Amelia Heinle), his bride-to-be, with a gorgeous sapphire ring. The couple then agree to share their news with Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) – and Victor surprises the lot of them by reacting favorably; that is until Ashland gives him cause to think otherwise.
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Testing The Waters
During a video chat with Adam (Mark Grossman), Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) exuberantly makes a plethora of plans for them and Connor to indulge in once he’s back from camp, and she’s returned from her mother’s…but an overwhelmed Adam tells her to slow her roll. He’s more than happy to go with her to one of Connor’s lacrosse games, but he’s not ready to commit beyond that. Not with a woman he barely trusts.
The Young and Restless Spoilers: Odds and Ends
In other Y&R spoilers news, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) sets the record straight with her mother, Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) engages in a power struggle with Ashland, and Sumer Newman (Hunter King) catches both of her parents off-guard.
Meanwhile, Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) receives a cryptic message from Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) – or is it? – and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) tasks her hubby with finding her daughter.
Finally, Y&R spoilers reveal that busy bees Nate Hastings (Sean Hastings) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) struggle to find balance in their relationship, and newsies Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) face an ethical dilemma.
