The Y&R spoilers for Friday, September 23, 2022, take matters to the extreme when Chelsea Lawson pushes Victoria Newman to make a decision she’d rather put off, Victor Newman decides that too much is never enough, and Nate Hastings meets with a mysterious figure he hopes will help Nate push his boundaries.
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) has been pushing for weeks to be allowed to tell Johnny Abbott that she’s his biological mother. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is on board. Probably because he’ll still stay Johnny’s dad, no matter what. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) has been less eager to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth — and risk losing the boy she’s raised as her own since birth as a result. But Chelsea is not known for her patience. So she decides to force the issue. And leave Victoria — and Johnny — no choice at all.

Victor (Eric Braeden) stepped away from the company he founded and is letting Victoria call all the shots. Just kidding. He’s still stopping by every day to let Victoria know he is constantly watching her and will let her know the minute she displeases him in any way.
Victoria has been on a company buying spree lately, and now she wants Chancellor-Winters, thanks to Nate’s (Sean Dominic) inside information about it going public. Victoria wants it. Victor wants it, too. She has not yet displeased him. She will if she screws it up though. You got that?
Nate thinks he’s got everything under control. Victoria will buy 49% of Chancellor-Winters, and Nate will sell her his shares on the side. Victoria will own the majority of the stock, and she will install Nate as Chief Executive Officer. Easy-peasy. So why is Nate meeting with a mystery person who might throw a monkey-wrench into those plans? Considering what a neophyte Nate is in business, what are the odds this figure will screw both him and Victoria over? Victor won’t be happy!
