The Y&R spoilers for Wednesday, September 22, 2021, are a Jack Abbott Palooza, as the long-time Genoa City resident takes a trip down Memory Lane, remembering all the choices he’s made in his life. Some have turned out well. Some…less so. The big question is: What lessons will he draw from it all?
The Y&R Spoilers Highlights
The biggest issue in Jack’s (Peter Bergman) life currently is that he has decided he loves Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) again – or still. Every time he tells her, she gets his hopes up by saying she loves him too – then promptly friend-zones him.
Phyllis has ripped Jack’s heart out of his chest multiple times before. Remember when he found out that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) actually fathered Summer (Hunter King)? Or when she cheated on him with his own brother, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)? We hope that Jack remembers that, ultimately, Phyllis has brought him nothing but grief. And gets over this latest infatuation sooner rather than later.
Family Matters
Jack has also made multiple mistakes with his family, including blackmailing sister Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) about her being illegitimate so he could keep control of the family company. He hasn’t treated Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) or Billy that great either at times. Maybe spend some time fixing those relationships.

Y&R: Here Comes the Son
As for Jack’s relationship with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), the kid spent years at boarding school before coming back and teaming up with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) against his own family. So, yeah, we’ve got some issues there. Jack appeased Kyle by giving him Jabot to play with, but then Kyle followed Summer to Italy and took wee Harrison with him. Might Jack think to reunite his family by following suit? Stay tuned to find out!
