Y&R spoilers for Monday, September 19, are all about secrets, as Sally Spectra and Nicholas Newman play a game of cover-up, Kyle Abbott is almost completely honest with Summer Newman Abbott, and Phyllis Summers is blindsided.

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) dumped Sally (Courtney Hope)…for her own good. Then he changed his mind and wanted her back. Except Sally has moved on…with Nick (Joshua Morrow).

We would say no one was more surprised by the development than Sally and Nick, except we suspect Adam is about to blow both of their surprises out of the water. He showed up in Sally’s hotel room and found Nick there. Adam isn’t a dumb guy. Then again, Sally and Nick are pretty good at tap dancing….

Kyle (Michael Mealor) is keeping secrets from Summer (Allison Lanier)…for her own good. All he wants is to surprise her with a vow renewal that will make up for the wedding in Italy that nobody saw.

But they’re also a bit at odds over the conflict between their mothers. What if Summer confuses his hedging about one for the other? This is not a couple that’s good at communicating, and they have a tendency to break up at the drop of a hat (like the comically floppy one Summer wore after she dumped Kyle at the altar, then stalked him around town). This can go very wrong, very quickly.
Y&R Spoilers I Know Best
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) always thinks she’s the smartest person in the room, which means the best way to trick her is to let her keep thinking that…right up until the rug gets pulled out from under her. Will this happen, or will Phyllis prove she always knows what she’s doing?
