Y&R Spoilers For May 20: Chloe Helps Esther Start A New Chapter

The Y&R spoilers for Friday, May 20, 2022, come down from their post-wedding high with Chloe Mitchell Fisher suggesting Esther Valentine throw off the shackles of her feather duster, while Phyllis Summers and Ashley Abbott put aside their mutual apathy to discuss someone they despise even more than each other, and Kyle Abbott learns that having money is a great way to solve — some — of life’s problems.

The Y&R Spoilers Highlights

Kyle (Michael Mealor) was all set to return to Milan, where the goal of his life is to demonstrate what a supportive husband he is to Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) as she pursues her dream career. But Summer doesn’t want to work in Milan anymore.

She’s not happy with how the fashion company she’s been working for was doing business, so she wants Kyle to buy it for her and let her run it from Genoa City. Because these are the kind of requests you can make of your family when you’re spoiled and pampered and privileged. Kyle isn’t sure if he wants to return to the town where his mother has just come back from the dead. But if it’s for Summer…hmm.

Young and the Restless: Get Lost

Meanwhile, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) are making plans to drive Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) out of their lives. Did they say their lives? They meant Kyle and Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman), of course. They’re not petty!

Y&R Spoilers: Mother, May I?

The last time Esther (Kate Linder) decided to spice up her life she got all dolled up to go out on the town…and came back a single mother. Let’s hope that whatever Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is helping her mom out with this time isn’t a rerun of the subplot from the musical “Mame.” Maybe she’ll just offer her a job with her new company. No one else needs qualifications to work there, why should Esther?
