The Y&R spoilers for Tuesday, May 17, 2022, promise a day of love, intrigue, danger, and really groovy fashions. Mariah Copeland and Tessa Porter decided on a 1970s theme for their wedding — well, technically, Noah Newman came up with it, and they were so tired of listening to him whine that they went along with it — and everyone showed up dressed in their best glam. Will this wedding prove to be an example of the best — and worst — from the ME decade?
The Y&R Spoilers Highlights
We already know that everyone in that room is painfully self-absorbed. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) has only been dead for a few minutes, but, hey, the show must go on! Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) insisted on it! She popped down to Florida, buried her husband, and was back in Genoa City in time to party!
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) told Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to stop whining about finding out his mother was still alive and told him he couldn’t possibly go running back to his wife in Italy for emotional support. He had to stay in town and perform her wedding. His problems can wait.
Young and the Restless: Older Generation
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), meanwhile, managed to make Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) return not about Kyle, not even about Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), but about herself — and scored an invitation to the wedding for her trouble. Let’s see how she tries to pull focus during the ceremony!

Y&R Spoilers: Danger Lurks
Meanwhile, Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) sister, Crystal (Morgan Obenreder), is there. Thankfully she’s free and out of witness protection thanks to Rey helping smooth the way, but the ceremony’s safety is in Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) hands. And remember what happened the last time he needed to do his cop job. Surely there aren’t any baddies waiting in the wings for her.
