The Y&R spoilers for Thursday, July 8 focus on the circle tightening around Mariah Copeland, while Michael Baldwin is gathering his own evidence against his sister-in-law, and Rey Rosales goes to bat for a new friend.
Even since Abby Newman Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) seemed to be under surveillance by somebody lurking outside her window, fans have been wondering if something nefarious is afoot. Especially when her ex, Dr. Stitch Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) suddenly popped up in Genoa City, and seemed to take a renewed interest in Abby – and in Mariah (Camryn Grimes), the woman who is carrying Abby’s baby.
Stitch has now accidentally bumped into Mariah twice now. And she’s been a bit weirded out both times. Is it finally time for Mariah to trust her intuition… or is it too late to escape whatever Stitch has planned for her?
Y&R spoilers also reveal that Michael (Christian LeBlanc) never completely bought the Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) acted alone to frame Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) for Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) attempted murder theory.
He always suspected that Chelsea’s BFF, Chloe Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson) was involved. She’s not about to go spilling the beans on her own. Which means it’s time for Michael to ask some questions he’s really been hoping he wouldn’t have to.
Nothing is more important to Chelsea than her precious son, Conner Newman (Judah Mackey). It’s why she tried to get his father sent to prison. For Conner’s own good. Instead, Chelsea ended up in a mental institution, and Adam has brought Conner home from boarding school – without letting him visit Mommy.
Like Michael, Y&R spoilers show that Rey also doesn’t completely buy Chelsea’s insanity defense. So why is he urging Adam to let Chelsea see Conner? Who is playing whom in this scenario?
