The Y&R spoilers for Friday, January 21, 2022, end the week with a reminder that it’s all about the Newman family…everyone else is just a player in their game as Victor Newman prepares to take back everything he believes should be his, Michael Baldwin is forced to put his new employer ahead of his wife, and Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor lets Devon Hamilton know what will be going on with their son.
The Y&R Spoilers Highlights
After Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) blackmailed Victor (Eric Braeden) into handing Newman Enterprises over to her, Victor decided he loved Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) more. Victor bought Adam a media company so they could take on Billy Boy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
But then Victoria first merged Newman with her new husband’s company, making it Newman-Locke, and then she got herself a media company of her own. Well, Victor wasn’t going to stand for that! Anything with the name Newman on it must be under his direct control. He first told Adam that he’ll be taking a more prominent role at Newman Media. And now he’s aiming for Newman-Locke, too.
My Lips Are Sealed
Victor wants Michael (Christian Le Blanc) to help him in his new plan for world domination. But he also wants him to keep it on the down-low until Victor is prepared to make his grand announcement. Which means Michael can’t tell anyone. Including a very curious Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman).

Abby (Melissa Ordway) doesn’t want to go to court with Devon (Bryton James) over Dominic. Devon wanted to find a mutually beneficial solution that wouldn’t require lawyers – even though he is sleeping with one. Abby vowed to give it some thought. Now she has.
