Y&R Spoilers For January 10: Michael Baldwin Questions His Next Move

The Y&R spoilers for Monday, January 10, 2022, celebrate the 30th anniversary of Daytime Emmy winner Christian Le Blanc playing Michael Baldwin. The District Attorney is struggling to decide whether to retire and live a life of leisure, or to stay on the job…and presumably live a life of leisure, since he seems to try an average of one case a year and, most of the time, Victor Newman tells him how he needs it to come out.

Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bregman), Gloria Abbott Bardwell (Judith Chapman), Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart), and Chloe Mitchell Fisher (Elizabeth Henrickson) are all on hand to offer their opinions. But since they can’t agree – when has this bunch ever agreed on anything? – they take a stroll down Memory Lane through Michael’s years in Genoa City. And, unlike most families, their home movies are very detailed!

Y&R: The Past Is in the Past

Remember when Michael was first a lawyer – and a criminal? We don’t mean the usual white-collar stuff. We mean as in a stalker and a rapist. Michael terrorized Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell). But they’re buds now! In fact, Christine stops by to share her opinion on what Michael should do with the rest of his life. When, once upon a time, he made her life miserable.

Fortunately, Michael doesn’t have to make this decision alone. And he doesn’t have to depend on his friends and family. Michael is blessed because, lo and behold, here comes Victor (Eric Braeden). Not only does he have an opinion on Michael’s dilemma, but he also has a solution for it. And if Michael doesn’t choose to heed Victor’s wise counsel, well, then, he might not find himself being a counselor much longer.
