Y&R Spoilers For Feb. 1: Victor and Nikki Question Ashland’s Motives

The Y&R spoilers for Tuesday, February 1, 2022, kick off a new month with Victor Newman and Nikki Newman finally taking a critical look at their new son-in-law, while Lauren Fenmore Baldwin questions her husband about his new job with Victor, and Chelsea Lawson continues to scheme against Sally Spectra.

The Y&R Spoilers Highlights

At first, like any reasonable parents, Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) were suspicious of the older, dying, not quite divorced magnate who was sniffing around their daughter. But then, despite Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) admitting to secret after dirty secret, the pair were suddenly crazy about him.

Especially once Ashland and Victoria merged their companies to become Newman-Locke. They did their best to keep Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) from ruining Ashland’s reputation. Except that now – after the merger and after the wedding – now, all of a sudden, Victor wants to dig more deeply into the man. Because, all of sudden, Victor and Nikki are finally suspicious of Ashland’s motives. Talk about a day late and a dollar short, guys!

Young and the Restless: Corporate Secrets

Victor hired Michael Baldwin (Christain Le Blanc) to do the digging. (What? You thought Victor would get his own hands dirty?) But Michael can’t tell his wife exactly what he’s doing for Victor. Lauren (Tracey Bregman) has known Victor longer than Michael has. Lauren knows this can’t be good…or innocent. And Lauren is rightfully concerned.

Y&R Spoilers: Strike Back

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) told Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sally (Courtney Hope) that their petty bickering would have to take second place to the news that Newman Media had just been sold out from under them. Uhm, no, Chelsea thought. This just means I have to rev up my war against Sally. After all, we may not be working together for much longer!
