The Y&R spoilers for Wednesday, December 8, 2021, are all about new and familiar couplings as Phyllis Summers and Jack Abbott can’t ignore their attraction any longer, Adam Newman finally breaks down and admits he needs Sally Spectra’s help, and Billy Abbott makes Lily Winters a promise.
Jack (Peter Bergman) has been pining over Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) for months. And Phyllis has been friend-zoning him for equally as long. But then Phyllis and Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) broke up, and she found herself without someone to worship her. Phyllis hates that.
So, what do you know, suddenly Jack looks good again! Especially after Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) said, “Hey, maybe you’re still in love with him.” And Phyllis had a Thanksgiving dream. And Jack sent her dinner. So Phyllis is willing to go back to the man she cheated on. How generous of her. What’s more confusing is that Jack is willing to take her back.
Sally (Courtney Hope) has been offering Adam (Mark Grossman) professional help – and more – for almost as long as Jack has been pining over Phyllis. Now Adam is finally smart enough to accept it. But will he be smart enough to figure out that Billy (Jason Thompson) is using the redhead to get to Adam? Or will Sally come to that conclusion first? And offer to turn the tables?
Meanwhile, Billy has let Lily (Christel Khalil) in on his plan to bring down Adam. Lily is a little nervous, as Billy’s last plan more or less cost them their media company. OK, Lily is a lot nervous. She sees Billy gambling again. Which means they could both lose. Again.
But Billy makes Lily a promise that he has everything under control Hey, remember when he used to tell Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) that.
