The Y&R spoilers for Monday, December 20, 2021, head into a festive holiday week with Phyllis Summers extending an offer to ex(?)-love Nicholas Newman, while Billy Abbott continues his road-company tour of The Drunk and the Disorderly, and Nate Hastings and Elena Dawson make some big changes for the new year.
The Y&R Spoilers Highlights
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) spent Thanksgiving having a dream about all the important people in her life and how she should be dealing with them. The holiday culminated with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) sending dinner to her suite and the two of them sharing a meal remotely (how 2020 of them!).
Presumably afraid there won’t be a rerun of that sweet gesture now that Jack has made it clear he can’t go back to the way things were with Phyllis, she reaches out to Nick (Joshua Morrow) for Christmas.
After all, only he can understand her unprecedented pain at having a grown child living in another city. Maybe they can spend Christmas – also remotely – with the Italian-dwelling Summer Newman Abbott (Hunter King), time-zones be damned? Except Nick has a Christmas dream of his own scheduled. And we’ll see if he’s still in a Phyllis mood at the end of it.
Y&R: Falling Down
Billy (Jason Thompson) pretends to be drunk in front of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) as a way to make him let down his guard…we think. This, in turn, will lead to Billy getting back at both Adam and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). But, first, he pretends to fall down while Adam watches. Why does Adam need those videos from Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) if he also gets a live showing?
Young and the Restless: Packing Up
Nate (Sean Dominic) invited Elena (Brytni Sarpy) to move in with him. She says yes. They do. This is still not a storyline.
In case you missed it, mornings on Soap Hub are for commentary or wild speculation about The Young and the Restless’ current stories — where they’re going, how they’re doing, and sometimes just what we’re hoping we will see in the near future in Genoa City.
