The Y&R spoilers for Monday, August 9, 2021, are a shock for Victor Newman and Nikki Newman, a surprise for Phyllis Summers, and an ending for Amanda Sinclair.
The Y&R Spoilers Highlights
The last thing Victor (Eric Braeden) told sons Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) was that he approved of Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) merger – both professional and personal – with Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi). But was he only saying that because he knows Ashland has less than six months to live, and he won’t be in their lives for all that long?
If Victor is looking forward to washing his hands of Ashland, how will he feel to learn that the man has proposed to Victoria – and Victoria said yes? They’re going to be family now. Which means Victor might actually have some competition for his King of the World status.
Young and Restless Spoilers: Summer Newman, Come Home
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is convinced that now that she’s gotten Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) arrested and convinced Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) did something worse than Phyllis ever could, Summer Newman (Hunter King) can finally come home as Mama has wanted all along. For the sake of Summer’s happiness, of course. This had nothing to do with Phyllis wanting to control her child’s life.
But Y&R spoilers tease that Summer has a curveball for Mommy. She likes her new job. She likes her new home. Could all of Phyllis’s scheming have been for nothing? And could it cost Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) his son?
After all, he only had access to Harrison (Kellen Enriquez) because the tot’s mother was living in his house. With Tara gone, Harrison’s other legal parent is…Ashland.
Young and the Restless: Mommy Dearest
Amanda (Mishael Morgan) wants Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) to cut her ties with Sutton Ames (Jack Langdon). Naya just can’t throw out a 50-year relationship because her long-lost daughter demands it. Her long-lost daughter continues to demand it.
