Y&R Spoilers For August 9: Victor Newman Calls Chance’s Bluff

The Y&R spoilers for Tuesday, August 9, 2022, find all the Newman men in various stages of their complicated lives, as Victor Newman reminds Chance Chancellor he is the smartest man who ever lived. Adam Newman gets a chance to change his destiny, and Nicholas Newman looks to the past for tips about his future.

The Y&R Spoilers Highlights

Chance (Conner Floyd) stopped by to ask Victor (Eric Braeden) some questions about Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) death. Victor literally smirked at this wet behind-the-ears upstart who thought he had any authority at the ranch just because he carried a badge and had fought for his country, and was a sworn officer of the law.

And then he proceeds to stonewall every question Chance asks, confident that no son-in-law of his would be so stupid as to challenge the word of Victor Newman. Not that he could outsmart Victor, even if he tried.

Young & Restless: Human Resources

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) bought a whole fashion company for his son and daughter-in-law because they asked nicely…and because, that way, they’d bring his grandson to live in Genoa City. So why shouldn’t he offer Adam (Mark Grossman) a job at Jabot, as well?

Unlike Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier), who rose to the top through the arduous task of being born into wealth, Adam actually went to Harvard Business School…and ran companies that weren’t (all) handed to him on a silver platter. This could be the first good business decision Jack’s made in months — in years!

Y&R Spoilers: Looking Back

Nick (Joshua Morrow) is sad about what Victor told him. And his sister is mad at him for telling her. So what does Nick do whenever he needs a sounding board that will never send him away? He goes to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). And here we go again.
