The Y&R spoilers for Monday, August 8, 2022, are back to focusing on Diane Jenkins, as Traci Abbott steps up to bat to question Jack Abbott about his feelings for Kyle Abbott’s mother, while Phyllis Summers is willing to go so far as to give up her dream so she can bring down Diane – for Jack and Kyle’s sakes, of course.
Y&R Spoilers Highlights
Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) already knows how she feels about Diane (Susan Walters) being back in Genoa City. She is willing to team up with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) to drive the witch out of town.

Traci (Beth Maitland), on the other hand, is doing her calm, supportive, I am so much better than you bit. Instead of pummeling Jack (Peter Bergman) with her opinion, she is asking polite yet probing questions.
But is she ready for the answers, when it seems like Jack is warming up more and more towards the mother of his child….not to mention the grandmother of his grandchild? Diane is so good with Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez). And Kyle (Michael Mealor) is so happy to have his Mommy back. Shouldn’t Jack welcome her with open arms as well?

Young & Restless Spoilers: Operation: Destroy
Hell, no, Phyllis is shrieking from the other side of town. Diane is the worst person who ever worsted, and Phyllis will not rest until she has proven this to Jack.
To that end, she is actually entertaining Lily Winters’s (Christel Khalil) offer to buy the hotel Phyllis previously went mental over keeping, all so that she can prove to daughter Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) that she wants to work with her at Marchetti.

All so that she can be in the same offices with Diane and frame her for something horrible…to prove that Diane is here to do something horrible.
