Y&R Spoilers for August 31: Billy Goes It Alone To Stop Ashland

The Y&R spoilers for Tuesday, August 31, 2021, end the month on a note of conflict, as Victor Newman goes head to head with Billy Abbott, Victoria Newman goes head to head with Lily Winters, and Nate Hastings and Elena Dawson wonder if their relationship is coming to a head.

The Y&R Spoilers Highlights

For about five minutes there, everyone in Genoa City, including Victor (Eric Braeden), Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow), and Billy (Jason Thompson) had the same goal: Dig into Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) past and prove that he wasn’t marrying Victoria (Amelia Heinle) out of love, but because he wanted her daddy’s company.

But then, Nick changed his mind because…reasons. Victor changed his mind because…Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott)…and Billy…is still damning the torpedoes, full speed ahead. He thought Victor was in his corner. He will now get a lesson in all the ways Victor never could be.

Young and Restless: Women Trouble

Meanwhile, Victoria, for some reason, isn’t buying Billy’s excuse that he is digging into her fiancé’s past for her own good – or, rather, for their children’s own good. Victoria thinks he is being spiteful and petty. And that Lily (Christel Khalil) is enabling him.

Since Billy believes he can bypass Victoria to deal with Ashland, Victoria must assume that she can bypass Billy to get at Lily. The women exchange pieces of their minds, as the audience wonders why either of them would bother with a guy like Billy in the first place.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Remember Us?

Nate (Sean Dominic) is now Elena’s (Brytni Sarpy) superior at the hospital. This, they worry, could cause a problem with both their personal and professional relationship. However, since we have seen very little of either, we can only hope it will be…something. This could be a great couple in the making. If we ever saw them do more than sip coffee.
