Y&R spoilers for Monday, August 30, 2021, pick up with the delivery of Mariah Copeland’s – or is that Abby Chancellor’s? Devon Hamilton’s? – baby, as Victor Newman still intends to play ultimate hero, while Nick Newman is starting to have his doubts about Phyllis Summers.
Y&R Spoilers Highlights
Nick (Joshua Morrow) has been ridiculously tolerant as of late, not just with Phyllis’s (Michelle Stafford) ongoing hysteria over Summer Newman (Hunter King) abandoning her, but to the fact that Phyllis can’t stop running to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to sob about it.
And she’s been doing this a lot more than he realized, as Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) slyly insinuated. Nick doesn’t necessarily want to believe what one scheming redhead told him about another, but we can’t help thinking that he can’t help thinking about how Summer’s paternity was in question once upon a time between Nick…and Jack.
Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it. Nick tries to head off doom at the pass by asking Phyllis about what’s going on with her and Jack. Expect more breast-beating about how Phyllis is suffering from a loss no other parent has ever been forced to endure and Nick hasn’t been supportive enough and Jack is the only one who understands. Nick wouldn’t dare take that comfort away from her, would he?
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Key Figure
When Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) called Victor (Eric Braeden) to tell him Mariah had been found, she focused on the most important player in the story – was Victor ready to be a grandfather again?
Now that the latest Newman has been born, Victor is even more determined to see that the man who dared keep the unborn tot from him is made to pay. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) can find Stitch Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) and arrest him, but ultimate justice will be up to Victor. You got that?
