The Y&R spoilers for Tuesday, August 17, 2021, find Mr. and Mrs. Newman laying down the law, as Nikki Newman has a bone to pick with Sally Spectra, and Victor Newman demands a truce between his squabbling children – now! Plus, Lauren Fenmore Baldwin backs up Jack Abbott.
The Y&R Spoilers Highlights
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Lauren (Tracey Bregman), and Jack (Peter Bergman) have had their chance to chew Sally (Courtney Hope) out for her role in driving Summer Newman (Hunter King) out of Genoa City. Now it’s Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) turn.
As the grand dame of proper society, she simply cannot wrap her brain around what would drive a young woman from the wrong side of the tracks to lie and scheme her way to the top, or, worse, latch on to a wealthy older man as a means for improving her situation. Such behavior will simply not be tolerated, you little hussy!
(On the other hand, how cool would it be if Nikki were to decide to play the same role for Sally as Kay Chancellor once did for a stripping hussy who’d set her eyes on one Victor Newman?)
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Hug It out
Y&R spoilers tease that Victor grumbled to Nikki how Victoria (Amelia Heinle) doesn’t understand how all of his telling her what to do is motivated by love. Nikki advised him to step back from his meddling.
So, on Tuesday, Victor responds by commanding Victoria and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to bury the hatchet. That…isn’t what Nikki meant, Victor.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friend In Need
Jack is sad that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) has moved out of town…and will likely take Harrison (Kellen Enriquez) with him. Not as sad as Phyllis is about Summer…but still kinda bummed. He commiserates with Lauren. Who hasn’t seen either of her sons in…how long? What is it with the elders of Genoa City suddenly suffering from empty nest syndrome? Has it ever happened before?
