The Y&R spoilers for Wednesday, April 13, 2022, can’t seem to stop talking about Ashland Locke, as Victor Newman lectures his daughter on how she should feel about her duplicitous husband, and Adam Newman makes Ashland an offer he’d be a fool to refuse. Plus, Jack Abbott breaks the Diane Jenkins news to his family.
Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) keeps insisting she has a foolproof plan to get Ashland (Robert Newman) out of her company — and her life — without risking either. But Victor (Eric Braeden) has his own ideas.
He demands to know if Victoria still loves Ashland. When she admits that feelings are complicated and they don’t just disappear overnight, Victor finds the response unsatisfactory, and, instead, explains how she should feel. Because Papa said so!
Meanwhile, Adam (Mark Grossman) is with Ashland, offering the very rich man even more money to get the hell out of Genoa City, Newman-Locke, and Victoria…not necessarily in that order.
Adam, of course, is doing it for his own reasons. He doesn’t care much about his sister. But he does care about proving he’s the one who saved Daddy’s company. Will Ashland go for it? Or is his agenda beyond money?
Over at the Abbotts, Jack (Peter Bregman) tells Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) about how Diane (Susan Walters) is still alive. They are shocked. But, really, why should they be?
Almost everybody in that room has come back from the dead at least once, and they’ve certainly known multiple people who have. Shouldn’t they just ho-hum and start discussing how to protect Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) from being more hurt than he absolutely has to be? Be productive, aunts!
