At Daniel’s (Michael Graziadei), Heather (Vail Bloom), and Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) show up bearing gifts, and they have a jolly family get-together. Also at Daniel’s, Christine (Lauralee Bell) and Danny (Michael Damian) share a passionate kiss on the couch, so it looks like everything is going well for them.

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) finds Tucker (Trevor St. John) at the jazz lounge. Later, at the Genoa City Athletic Club, it looks like Christine and Danny see Phyllis and Tucker talking. Perhaps Phyllis is attempting to make Danny jealous by kissing Tucker, or maybe they kiss because of a growing sense of desperation for both of them.

Of course, the event of the season happens at Society. Michael (Christian Le Blanc) and Lauren (Tracey Bregman) gather with Gloria (Judith Chapman), Kevin (Greg Rikaart), Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson), and Phyllis to pledge their lives to each other once more. Sadly, Fenmore (Zach Tinker) isn’t there. As the New Year’s Eve clock winds down to midnight, the re-newlyweds share a kiss and gold confetti welcomes the whole group into 2024.
