The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal the end could be near for The Great Victor Newman. The Genoa City patriarch is suffering gravely and he’s facing an uphill battle to save his life.
The heartbreaking and dangerous truth comes out and it will crush the one person he lets in on his secret.
Abby (Melissa Ordway) knows something is wrong with her dad and she’s worried sick. She knows he is not telling the truth and turns to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) for help.
She tells Nikki everything and prays her stepmom can get to the bottom of her father’s condition.
The news rocks Nikki to the core. She is well aware her hubby is a master secret keeper but this is going too far. If he is sick she has a right to know. There is no way she is going to put up with him walking through a terrible illness alone.
Expect Nikki to head straight to NE and demand the truth. Unfortunately, it is worse than she could ever imagine.
Victor (Eric Braeden) relents and tells her the whole soul-crushing tale. He has a rare blood disorder. It’s serious, complicated, and potentially deadly.
But, not to worry, he is a superhero who can overcome anything and will get through this too. In fact, he has already begun treatment.

Spoilers reveal the whole sad saga brings up more questions than answers for Nikki. How long has he known (since just after he found Adam), how long will treatment be (maybe years), and can he be cured (hopefully). It’s a lot to take in and she is not sure where to go from here.
Victor has only one request for his wife — that she keep all this to herself. There is no sense in scaring their family if the treatment works anyway. He adores his children but they have enough going on without worrying about their ailing pop.
No matter what goes on from here, one thing is for sure, Victor will move heaven and earth to pull through.
He loves his wife, loves his family, and is not ready to leave them yet. All he can do is take his treatments, swallow his meds, live every day to the fullest, and hope for the best.
