The Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, June 4 features a day of starting realizations and clever plays. Jack and JJ turned the tables on each other, Will said the words no one wants to hear, and a song gave Claire away.
I’m Dying
Will (Chandler Massey) was on a mission to make his final days count but in a way no one expected. Instead of spending time with friends and family, he wanted to write a expose about Jack instead. There was just one hitch — the tumor caused him to forget simple things like names and common words.
Sonny (Freddie Smith) tried to distract him but Will was adamant about his last hurrah. He is the one who is dying and it’s his way or the highway.
He told Marlena (Deidre Hall) the same thing when she came for a visit. He only has days left and sure, yeah, maybe it is time to call mom. But, his story comes first.
Like Father, Like Son
Speaking of Jack (Matthew Ashford), he thought he had the runaway crew right where he wanted them. He threated to lock Jen (Melissa Reeves) away for years if JJ (Casey Moss) didn’t turn in Haley (Thia Megia).
The threat worked — sort of. JJ did come back but not with Haley. Instead, Tripp (Lucas Adams) was left to get her across the border while JJ sorted out his father’s mess. JJ made a deal — Jen’s freedom for Haley’s whereabouts but it was a scam. The second the charges were dropped JJ basically said ‘Got ya.’

Unwanted Therapy
Marlena (Deidre Hall) paid a visit to Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) but it was not a social call. She was there to talk Claire off a ledge and find out what was really going on. Claire admitted to feeling down about Tripp and even told her grandma about setting Haley up to fall and why.
Music To Ben’s Ears!
Meanwhile, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) remained convinced Claire was the cabin firestarter and tried to convince Ciara (Victoria Konefal) of the same.
However, she just could not see her niece taking such a dark turn. Then, things became clear when Ben heard the tune stuck in his head since his last hypnosis session. It was Claire’s ringtone as she took their order.
