The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal the arrival of a brand-new character in Genoa City who is sure to shake things up with more than one popular character.
Ms. Celeste Rosales is on the scene and just in time for her daughter’s bridal shower! She’s Abby’s biggest surprise of the day and her appearance will nearly bring Lola to tears — both of joy and of horror. This is definitely going to get interesting.
When Abby plans a party you can bet she has some tricks up her sleeve. She closes down Society, orders some of the best food, hires some of the hottest servers, and invites the most beautiful ladies in town for Lola’s day.
She also has the mother of all shockers ready to rock the house – Lola’s mama! Why oh why did Abby or nobody else call her when Lola languished in a coma for weeks on end in need of a liver?
But now, Celeste is FINALLY is Genoa City. She’s there to be with her daughter on her special day and just seeing her has Lola grinning from ear to ear. Lola has not seen her mother for the better part of a year and it’s nice to finally be together again.
But, we ask again, what kept her away for so long,? She shows up for a bridal shower but not a coma or even an organ transplant?
It’s not like Lola’s illness was a secret. Where was she when Rey renewed his vows, Arturo got engaged, or Mia was waiting on DNA results that changed all their lives.
Her sudden interest in Lola’s life may cause more animosity than anyone could realize and this is going to be a problem.

It’s no secret the Rosales siblings don’t have very many nice things to say about their dad but they have not really talked about their mom. Although Lola did tell Summer last week she speaks to her mom every day.
However, is she part of the reason all three siblings took off from Miami? One did return, so she can’t be all that bad right?
Expect big trouble in the coming week. Celeste is a very particular woman and rumor has it she’ll take issue with Lola’s way of life.
