The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal a day full of hearts and stars for Traci. Her romance novel takes a turn and becomes a real-life saga.
Her heartbroken hero turns to her for solace and asks her to accompany him for a night on the town. Is this the start of a new and exciting romance or a major setup for disappointment?
It’s no secret (at least to the audience) Traci’s crushing hard on Cane. Her book began as a tribute to him and Lily but it’s quickly turning into a fantasy about her and Cane.
Well, she may not have to dream much longer. Cane’s about to suffer another disappointment and it sends him right to Traci!
Neil’s dedication ceremony is coming up and Cane was looking forward to finally having Lily back in town again. Even a short visit is better than not seeing her at all. He is a man still very much in love and wants to fix his broken family.
Unfortunately, she is not coming home. It’s all too much for her. Besides, it’s the same night her first group of students graduate their course and she wants to be with them. This is her way of honoring her dad — giving back. The news nearly breaks Cane.
The poor guy is a ball of mush by the time he sees Traci. She picks him up, dusts him off, and help him through this romantic crisis. She gets it, she has been down this road before (many times). Love hurts and the only cure is time.
Teasers reveal her efforts and kindness pay off big time! Cane decides he is going to the ceremony anyway and he’s bringing a date — her!

Boy, is this music to Traci’s ears. Okay, sure, a ceremony honoring his ex’s dad is not the best place to have their first date but she will take what she can get.
Is Traci getting ahead of herself, though? Sure, Cane asked her out but is he looking at this date as a “date” or just as two friends on the town? She could be in for a serious disappointment if they aren’t on the same page.
