The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, October 16 reveal a day of surprises and dilemmas throughout Genoa City.
Billy returns from the shortest rehab stint ever to find out that his family has imploded, while Abby confronts her mom about the same issue, and Victoria has to pick a side.
Peace and Quiet
Having licked his gambling problem in the space of a week (less, if you consider that one day spanned several episodes), Billy (Jason Thompson) returns to Genoa City.
He broke up with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), and he’s tying to avoid Summer (Hunter King) because perhaps he realizes that was a big boo-boo.
But, at least he can hide in the bosom of his loving and supportive family. Right, about that.
Oh, by the way, Billy, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) tricked Jack (Peter Bergman) into thinking he wasn’t a blood Abbott.
Then, Kyle (Michael Mealor) threw a tantrum about how nobody felt sorry for poor him, while Traci (Beth Maitland) clucked and Abby cried. You were just a part of her plan to get rid of the Blood Abbott clause.
So, Billy – wanna go back to rehab? Or gambling?

Abby stops crying long enough to confront Ashley, who told her the same thing she told Jack: Ashley didn’t do anything to her brother that her brother didn’t do to her first.
Abby doesn’t see it that way. She feels let down and disappointed. Abby was much happier when her mother was being dumped on. Some daughter she is.
Voters Rights
The women have voted and decided that they won’t pay off their blackmailer. So what now?
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was already a nervous wreck, and that was before the blackmail notes started coming.
Sure, she agreed with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) that there was no evidence connecting them to JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) death, but now Victoria has 24 hours to sit and stew about it. Victoria isn’t good at that. Will she go against her partners in crime?
It’s about time one of these women cracked, but we really did think it would be Sharon first.
