The Young and the Restless Spoilers
The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, August 20, 2019, reveal the start of an odd new friendship — or something of the sort. Maybe. Zoe spies Summer at The Dive Bar and she can’t seem to get enough of the Newman Princess.
Zoe (Anna Grace Barlow) seems to come from high society but being in the presence of Newman royalty takes the cake.
Summer (Hunter King) isn’t just a rich kid, she’s a wildly successful executive and up and coming social media sensation. Yes, oh yes, it’s hard not to be a fangirl. And perhaps an insipid one at that?
Of course, Summer will soak up the attention. And, why shouldn’t she? It’s nice to have admirers. But, there is something different here. She and Zoe know one too many people in common and there is a story there.
Summer does a bit of fun digging into why Zoe showed up at Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) on Theo’s (Tyler Johnson) arm. Oh, it’s no biggie, says Zoe.
She was a drunk girl at a party once who almost died of alcohol poisoning and the boys saved her by dumping her at a hospital. No harm, no foul, and no hard feelings.
In fact, Zoe especially doesn’t hold any grudges against Theo. She’s rather smitten with Mr. Tall-Tanned-and-Handome.

Not only is she cool with him feeding her so much liquor that she nearly lost her life but she also thinks it’s Kyle’s fault she was turned away at the wedding. Theo can do no wrong. Heck, she was just happy to be included at all.
The naive (?) young lady goes on and on about Theo, the parties of the past, hopes of good times in the future, and share her excitement to be in Genoa City — the land of the famous families in the middle of Wisconsin. She even invites Summer to hang out and go clubbing.
Spoilers reveal this may be one of the only times Summer turns down a good party. Summer would rather hang with her mom than go out with Theo and his much-too-young gal pal. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
