The General Hospital recap for Monday, August 19, 2019 features some hard news for a mama bear to swallow, the return of villainous Cassadine (kinda), and a new wrench being thrown into the Dranco saga.
Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) arrived at Casa Corinthos and was greeted by Sonny (Maurice Benard), Robert (Tristan Rogers) and Lulu (Emme Rylan). Olivia is a pretty smart cookie so it didn’t take her but one time to guess they were about to discuss Dante.
Robert told her about the set back in her son’s rehabilitation and that all de-programming had to be suspended until further notice.
A furious Oliva demanded that Dante return home and Robert tried to be as gentle as possible when telling her that wasn’t an option. However, he did promise to try and set up a meeting between mother and son.
Later, Lulu filled her in-laws in on some decisions she has made. She will NOT agree to Dante’s wish for a divorce but she WILL let the divorce he initiated go through. (Logic?)
At the Port Charles Police Department, Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) used his one phone call to rat out Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and spill everything he remembered from Kristina’s pledge, which was a lie anyway.
Afterward, he was led into a cell that was directly across from the one housing Dranco (Roger Howarth) — guess Jordan’s (Briana Nicole Henry) promise to not let Shiloh hurt Franco again was a little hollow, huh?
Shiloh admitted to Dranco that he was the one responsible for the memory swap (though Dranco still, STILL, doesn’t seem to buy it) and he furthermore revealed what happened the night that the real Drew was taken.
Turns out, Shiloh was working on the orders of Helena Cassadine (special guest Constance Towers) to whom he delivered a bound (but not gagged) Drew. But Shiloh had even more of a story to tell.
See, Helena was not working alone. In fact, she was colluding with a mystery man that only Shiloh knows about. If Dranco will reveal the location of Shiloh’s illegal earnings than Shiloh promised to share the man’s identity. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
