The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, August 28 reveal Nikki needing to once again cover for her daughter, Jack coming to a realization, and Ashley and Kyle ramping up their devious plot.
Cover Up
Ever since the night when JT (Thad Luckinbill) tried to manhandle Victoria (Amelia Heinle), and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) clocked him over the head with a fireplace poker, the women have been covering for each other.
It’s taken a major toll on them both. Nikki’s MS is acting up, and Victoria is a nervous mess. Nikki thought Nate (Brooks Darnell) might be able to help, but Victoria shut that effort down.
Now Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) is in town, seemingly looking for answers about what happened the night of JT’s disappearance. Which of these men will Nikki need to protect her little girl from now?

Oh, and his mother’s medical condition can only get worse. Reality bites. And Jack (Peter Bergman) is finally ready to admit it.
Plot Thickens
Now that Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) know that Billy embezzled money from the company, they have the first knot in the rope they’re going to use to help Billy hang himself with.
But they need something more. And Billy’s new residence just might give them the opportunity they crave…
If only Summer didn’t cause so much trouble, Billy would likely have a whole less trouble in his life… or maybe not.
Billy didn’t have to take over Jabot and not let anyone else have any say after Jack’s paternity puzzle was revealed, but that’s Billy.
