The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, August 27 features an intense confrontation between Phyllis and Billy about Summer – followed by a threat.
Plus, Abby and Sharon got to know Rey better, Mariah searched for Tessa, and Lily contemplated prison.
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) let Billy (Jason Thompson) in on Summer’s (Hunter King) plan to show up in his bed and wanted to know how Billy would have responded.
Billy realized his track record isn’t great – neither is hers, exactly – but he swore he’d have turned Summer down. Billy also admitted that Summer has been acting inappropriately with him, and he didn’t tell Phyllis because he was trying to protect her.
Billy packed his bags and offered to move out, but he and Phyllis have sex instead. She did agree to move out of Summer’s apartment and warned Billy that if anything ever did happen between him and Summer, she’d kill him. (Billy needs to have a nice chat with Christine about how Phyllis’s threats are never idle.)
Get To Know Me!
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) told Abby (Melissa Ordway) about the rough times he and Arturo (Jason Canela) had growing up and asked for their sister’s address, but Abby won’t give it up without Arturo’s permission.
Later, Sharon (Sharon Case) needed help with a leaky pipe and Rey stepped in, which, of course, required removing his shirt. It was a much more pleasant part of Sharon’s day than when she had to tell Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that, perhaps, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) has run off on her, again.
Stiff Upper Lip
Lily (Christel Khalil) begged Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) not to stress about her going to prison. They have no idea what will happen to her. After the kids were gone, though, Lily broke down with Abby, sobbing that she won’t be able to survive it.
